Pastor Doug and his wife, Deanna, joined Southgate in 1984. Doug served as the youth pastor for 13 years, then transitioned to Associate Pastor in 1995. In 1997, following Pastor Harold Hodges’ retirement, Doug became the Senior Pastor. They have raised their three children—Sarah, Nathan, and Rachel—at Southgate.
Sarah, her husband Kelly, and their three daughters are active members of Southgate. Nathan, along with his wife Lynzie and their six children, serves on staff at our sister church, Grace Harbor (NW OKC). Rachel, her husband Jordan, and their three children also serve at Southgate, where Jordan is our Student Pastor.
